Hattersley Partnership

Hattersley has achieved much over the last few years. Regeneration initiatives with strong resident involvement have paved the way for a bright new future.

With the physical transformation of the area now gathering pace, three main public sector partners have joined forces with residents and other agencies to lead Hattersley into an exciting new era.

  1. Tameside Council – including Hattersley Neighbourhood Partnership, the local regeneration partnership based in Hattersley.
  2. English Partnerships – the Government’s national regeneration agency.
  3. Peak Valley Housing Association - the areas main Registered Social Landlord and subsidiary of Contour Housing Group Ltd.
  4. In additon, the appointment of the developers selected to lead the physical transformation of Hattersley, BASE and CTP Ltd. was announced with the signing of the Development Agreement on 21st March 2007.

BASE will now lead on the development of new residential properties, with CTP responsible for delivering the planned new commercial developments.

The exciting £250 million vision for Hattersley will bring more than 800 new private homes, a new district centre, shops, businesses and community services; and improved roads, parking and public space.
