Mancunian Reunion Wins Top Award

THE Mancunian Reunion group received a reward for all their hard work and effort this week, by winning the region’s top award for community engagement.

 
After being put forward by Tameside Council, the group were awarded the prize, which is sponsored by North West Together We Can – a Government backed initiative promoting community engagement and empowerment for the region – the award recognises community groups who have been particularly prominent within their area and benefited the community as a whole. Cllr Oldham Visits Ken Ward Sports Centre

Councillor Roy Oldham, the Executive Leader of Tameside Council, recently paid a visit to Hattersley’s Ken Ward Sports Centre (KWSC) to check on progress of the £3.1m Phase 2 development – ahead of its opening in May.

 
Part of Tameside Council’s commitment to providing top class sports and leisure facilities across the borough, the opening of the Centre comes hot on the heels of the launch of the new Tameside Gymnastics Centre at nearby Manley Grove in Mottram. Continue reading »

Mancunian Reunion Up For Top Award

HATTERSLEY’S Mancunian Reunion group received a welcome fourth anniversary present with the news that Tameside Council had chosen them as their nomination for a prestigious award.

Work Solutions Come To Hattersley

THE job prospects of Hattersley residents have received a welcomed boost, thanks to the arrival of Work Solutions.
