Advice, Guidance and Information

Hattersley’s Step Ahead service provides access to a wide variety of information, advice and guidance - ranging from friendly one-to-one sessions with Step Ahead’s own local Learning and Training Champions to signposting to specialist advice agencies.
Step Ahead provides a ‘One Stop Shop’ where local people can get free, confidential advice on a variety of issues including; benefits, jobs, volunteering opportunities, and local courses ranging from basic skills and leisure interests to IT and job related skills.
Although Step Ahead works with mainstream partners such as Jobcentre Plus, Connexions and local colleges, the focus is on providing an individual and local service, where local people feel at ease discussing their particular issues.
Contact Step Ahead on: 0161 368 2096, e-mail: info@stepahead.co.uk or call in at the Hattersley Neighbourhood Partnership office at 10-13 Kingston Arcade (Hattersley Precinct).
