Be warm as toast this winter

All Tameside residents are being offered free cavity wall and loft insulation to help them keep warm and save money.

The new scheme forms part of the Energy Saving Trust’s Get Me Toasty Campaign and,unlike previous offers, it is free to everyone – not just people of a certain age or on benefits.

Loft and cavity wall insulation can save almost £250 on heating bills in a year by keeping the heat in a home.

Not all houses can have cavity wall insulation but residents can have a free, no obligation survey to see if their homes are suitable. All work will be carried out by approved and accredited installers. The free loft insulation is subject to survey findings. The offer based on an average sized three bedroom semi-detached house with less than 60mm of existing loft insulation in place.
