New Free Local Courses

 
New courses for 2012 – Free to Hattersley residents

Starting at various times throughout the year and offering a choice of topics including basic skills, job skills, personal development and leisure interests there’s something for everyone.

Regular courses include Literacy and Numeracy with various IT courses, ranging from beginners classes to more advanced IT qualifications. The popular Food Hygiene and First Aid courses will once again feature.

For those looking to get back into work there’s a new ‘Get back into work’ BTEC qualification and pre-volunteering courses with the Volunteer Centre.

Work related courses include: Manual Handling, Retail, Customer Service, Business Administration, Security Industry Training, Call Centre Training, COSHH (Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health) and the in demand Construction Industry (CSCS) Health and Safety Card.

For those looking to personal development the new Confidence Building class may be of interest whilst various Arts and Craft classes will appeal to those considering for a new leisure interest.
