Hattersley

The £multi – million physical transformation of Hattersley took a huge leap forward on 3^rd November when the planning application for the new Tesco superstore and District Centre was given final approval by the Secretary of State.

The development is a key part of the Masterplan for the area and will comprise a Tesco Extra and a ‘community hub’ which will provide a base for the library service, Hattersley Neighbourhood Partnership, Peak Valley Housing Association, the police, the Community Forum Association and numerous other community groups.   Continue reading »
