New Street Reps Featured on Tameside Radio |
THE good work of Street Representatives in Hattersley and Mottram was recently highlighted in an interview on Tameside Radio.
Representatives of both HAMPA and Peak Valley Housing were interviewed to give their opinions on the success of the Street Rep scheme, which has made life for tennants in the area much easier to get problems solved.
The ‘street reps’ keep an eye on their patch and report back any problems to Hattersley and Mottram People’s Association (HAMPA) and Peak Valley Housing. They also become a well known face in the streets they represent which allows residents to approach them with any issues or suggestions they may have.
In fact the scheme has been so successful that other areas in the North West are looking to adopt something similar for their residents. To listen to the full interview click here
